A taste of the seaside

The arrival of summer brings the taste of new menus, refreshing flavours and cooling cocktails; all the ingredients needed to make your trip to the seaside one to remember.

Docklands Fish & Chips

A trip to the waterfront wouldn’t be complete without tucking into fresh fish and chips from a classic British chippy served in our seaside cones. Whether you prefer your chips accompanied by a flaky fish, salty sausage or gorgeously green mushy peas, we dare you to walk past without your mouth watering.

Real Ice Cream Dairy

There isn’t a more fitting treat than an ice cream when strolling along the waterfront. Make your way along Hartley Quay, where you’ll find Real Ice Cream Dairy, abundantly stocked with frozen goodies from beloved classics you had as a kid and new flavours to tempt the senses.

Treat yourself with a trip to social fine dining restaurant, Lerpwl and try their new Daily Plates menu. Fashioned from individually priced dishes, start your experience with a sanbaizu oyster topped with cucumber and dill, followed with the succulent roast cod drizzled with mussel cawl sauce.

Nothing says summer like dining al fresco in Madre’s courtyard. Sip on a refreshing frozen strawberry and hibiscus margarita while you tuck into crispy baja fish tacos topped with jalapeño aioli and salsa Mexicana and a side order of calamari with chipotle mayo.

The One O’Clock Gun

Cool off with a trip to The One O’Clock Gun, guaranteed to deliver delectable drinks and the perfect pub grub. Enjoy slushies and fizz from their outside bar every weekend, including frozen red sangria. For when you start feeling peckish, ask for their seafood roll, featuring prawns, crab and lobster.

For small plates that pack a punch, Maray boast an electric menu inspired by flavours of the Middle East. Alongside seafood specials that will appear over the summer, you can enjoy staples - slow cooked seabass with tomatoes, fennel and coated red pepper, or mackerel served alongside pea puree and fried greens.

Taste the flavours of the Americas alongside home favourites with a trip to PANAM. Enjoy a home style battered fish fillet with hand cut chips served with mushy peas and a zingy tarte sauce in our to-go chip cones, perfect for when you want to eat while walking along the waterfront.

Turncoat Bar & Pizza

Encompassing the flavours of the British coast, sip on Turncoat’s independently distilled Tidal Gin while taking in the views of the dock. Made from coast growing sapphire to provide a delicate sea salty taste against a distinctly crisp juniper backbone for the ideal sundowner G&T.

Rosa’s Thai Cafe

Head to the tropics while staying in Liverpool with a trip to Rosa’s Thai and tuck into their new summer special menu. Enjoy deep fried seabass served with a delicious mango, cashew nut and red onion salad, often served at seaside restaurants in Thailand. Alongside, sip on their brand new Bubble Tea, which is available in five different flavours.

Revolución de Cuba

Satisfy your sweet tooth with cuban-inspired restaurant, Revolucion de Cuba. Munch on a crisp collection of churros, served in our seaside cones, and topped with velvety melted chocolate that makes for the perfect after-dinner dessert.
