After a record breaking year we are excited to announce the Albert Dock 2017 events programme.
2016 saw the launch of an exciting annual programme of free events for the whole family including Steam on the Dock, Vintage on the Dock, Folk on the Dock, Heritage on the Dock and Pirate festival on the Dock! We ended the year with our spectacular 4D projection ‘Countdown to Christmas’ which illuminated the Dock like never before! Visitors flocked in their thousands to see our unique projection bring the magic of the festive season right here to the Albert Dock.
We are excited to announce that these amazing events will return this year, but even bigger and better than before! Expect more trains, more music, more history, more fashion, more illuminations and much more fun!
Our famous attractions continue to showcase world class exhibitions, with the arrival of Roy Lichtenstein at Tate Liverpool from 17 February. In safe hands: the story of the Liverpool Pilots continues at Merseyside Maritime Museum along with the arrival of the International Slavery Museum’s newest exhibition ‘the Art of Solidarity’. Our friends at the Beatles story & The Magical Mystery Tour celebrate 67-17: 50 summers of love with a host of exciting events and Mattel Play! Liverpool continue to offer 13,000 square feet of interactive adventure play to let your child’s creativity bring their favourite characters stories to life!
But your reason to visit the Dock this year doesn’t end there! With a host of bars and restaurants with delicious cuisines from all over the world, Albert Dock is the place to visit this year whatever the occasion.
