Located on the fourth floor of the Merseyside Maritime Museum the Maritime Dining Rooms is one of ten Liverpool restaurants recommended in the Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland 2012 and has been for the last four years. Service currently runs 12 noon to 3.30pm, seven days a week for lunch and afternoon tea 12-4.30pm, with after hours catering for corporate and private functions.
The menu has been devised by chef Ben Sheeran, who has cooked for the Queen and won chef of the year for Liverpool ambassador awards 2012. The menu celebrates British and local produce, combining classic flavours with modern presentation.
Dishes change regularly to reflect the best seasonal flavours and there are several vegetarian and vegan options. There is also a comprehensive wine list, a tempting afternoon tea menu, a children's menu, and discount offers available in the Albert Dock voucher booklet.
