Located on the fourth floor of the Merseyside Maritime Museum the Maritime Dining Rooms is one of ten Liverpool restaurants recommended in the Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland 2010. Service currently runs 12 noon to 5pm, seven days a week for lunch and afternoon tea, with after hours catering for corporate and private functions.
The menu has been devised by executive chef Nigel Paul Smith, who has cooked for celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Paul Gayler. It celebrates British and local produce, combining classic flavours with modern presentation.
Dishes change regularly to reflect the best seasonal flavours and there are several vegetarian and vegan options. There is also a comprehensive wine list, a tempting afternoon tea menu, a children's menu, and an excellent value family meal deal.
