There is a monster on the loose at the Albert Dock! Bring the
family along to join in the search and take part in the Monster
Treasure Hunt! Celebrate the Dock's mystery monster as part of
a week of fun for all the family for half term, collect your free
Monster Treasure Map at the Tourist Information Centre. The Dock
will host a New Orleans Jazz band as well as free face painting,
workshops, storytelling and a whole host of special activities to
keep the children entertained!
Join in the fun at BugWorld's Half Term Love Bug Week, running
between the 13th and 21st February, all children who come along in
Love Bug fancy dress will receive a free goody bag. While taking
part in the Love Bug Quiz Trail, kids can have fun and learn as
they navigate their way around the plethora of creepy crawlies.
Completed quizzes will be entered into a prize draw, win a bag
filled with goodies from the BugWorld gift shop.
Fancy having fun to a fab four beat, head over to the Yellow
Submarine Workshop at the Beatles Story, on the 16th and 18th of
February between 2pm and 4pm, where children create their own
musically inspired artistic hanging mobile and learn all about the
characters in the Yellow Submarine.
Add some creative culture to your half term fun; bring the family
to the Dragons and Lanterns workshop at the Merseyside Maritime
Museum, to celebrate Chinese New Year. The whole family can welcome
in Year of the Tiger, by creating some colourful Chinese paper
lanterns. And for all of those young explorers out there, Tate
Liverpool is challenging you to visit the Explorer Base Camp where
you can pick up a map or activity bag.
After a fun filled day of half term activities, you are sure to
build up a healthy appetite, the restaurants and café across
the Albert Dock have come together with some fantastic, great value
offers.
At Blue Bar & Grill and PanAm kids can eat for free between
11am and 6pm from the 13th to the 21st February, while over at
What's Cooking your little ones can tuck in for just 99p
between 5pm and 7pm from the 16th to the 19th February. Over the
half term period, Ha!Ha! Bar & Canteen are offering 2 for 1
breakfast from 10am until noon and two courses for £4.95 all
day every day, with free balloons and crayons for the kids. All
food offers are available when an adult meal is purchased.
Have lunch at Vinea between the 15th and the 21st of February and
you can sit back and relax with a glass of something chilled, while
Vinea entertain the children with face painting and model balloon
making with free soft drinks. There might even be a special guest
appearance by 'Vinny' the Vinea Clown.
Joining in the half term fun are Circo, Costa Coffee, Gusto, Hansel
& Gretel's, La Crepe Rit, NOSH, Portico Canteen & Bar,
Spice Lounge, Tate Café who have special offers and discounts
for all the family.
