This weekend looks set to be another highlight in
Liverpool's Culture year as the clippers return to Liverpool.
To welcome the return of the clippers to the city, the Albert Dock
Company will be welcoming a number of performers to entertain
guests at the Dock. Joe Edge, Director at the Albert Dock says -
"The return of the clippers is a key milestone in the Culture
Year and The Albert Dock Company and all of our tenants are geared
up and ready to welcome the many visitors at the Dock this weekend.
This is another fantastic opportunity to showcase the
waterfront's potential and really give everyone a weekend to
remember."
The Dock will be welcoming a number of musicians and family
entertainers, including face painters who will be performing
throughout the weekend.
To cope with increased demand and to ensure that customer
satisfaction remains high, a number of the tenants will be
employing extra staff and in some cases opening extra venues! Quay
Confectionery, a favourite with sweet-toothed tourists will be
opening an additional store in The Colonnades.
Guests to the Albert Dock will also be welcomed by a fully
uniformed concierge team who will be on hand to ensure that guests
are well looked after and remain safe and secure at all times. Joe
continues -
"These additional actions show our continued passion in
ensuring that The Albert Dock continues to set the standard as one
of the Northwest's most popular visitor attractions"
