Vintage on the Dock returns this summer on 9th and 10th July to weave a little bit of vintage magic through the Albert Dock with a free, family weekend celebration of 20th Century vintage cool!
The award winning Vintage Festival has been on the summer festival calendar in towns and cities around the UK since 2010 when Wayne, Gerardine and Jack Hemingway developed an event that reunites music and fashion in a way that’s never looked so good!
Visitors looking for some seriously stylish eye candy can browse the vintage marketplace, with the best traders hand-selected by keen-eyed curators, Dotty’s Vintage. From vintage clothes and accessories, to mid-century modern homewares, records and music memorabilia from the 1920s through to the 1990s, for the curious and committed and for those who want some seriously stylish eye candy.
Watch pop up performances throughout the day or allow the dance professionals to show you the moves that set dance floors alight in times gone by. Join the amazing dance collective, the Mudflappers and learn the Balbao to the Collegiate or do the Charleston with vintage dance duo Antony and Steph.
Vintage DJs will keep crowds on their feet all day and if you fancy giving it a go yourself you can ‘Choose Your Cheese’ with the Charity Shop DJ all weekend.
The fun at Vintage is that you just have to join in! Vintage workshops will keep you busy as the Dock welcomes vintage artists and makers to teach the adults and the kids traditional vintage techniques from graffiti to printing.
Visitors can wander through a visually stunning selection of handpicked classic cars that takes you on a journey celebrating timeless vintage automotive design and look out for immersive street performance wandering through the dockside architecture.
We look forward to welcoming you at this years Vintage on the Dock!
