The Albert Dock is Liverpool's most visited tourist
attraction, attracting around five million visitors each year
(based on a footfall people counting system). The Merseyside
Visitor Survey shows that 16% of Merseyside's visitors and 64%
of Liverpool's visitors come to the Albert Dock.
The dock also offers award winning visitor attractions, stylish bars and
restaurants, exciting retail opportunities and two hotels, all
housed within the largest collection of Grade I listed buildings in
the UK.
This stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site is well serviced by all
major transport links, including the rail terminus at Liverpool
Lime Street, local rail services and is only a 20 minute taxi ride
from Liverpool's John Lennon Airport.
Recent development work now means the dock offers 5,000 secure,
24-hours car parking spaces.
The Albert Dock lies at the heart of Liverpool's visitor and
consumer attractions, bordered by the Arena and Convention Centre
Liverpool on one side, and the Pier Head on the other, which
includes the magnificent Liver Building. It is linked to the city
centre by picturesque Chavasse Park and the Liverpool One shopping
centre.
